Destination Workshops: Bali, Photography, Workshops

Photographing with confidence, sensitivity and consciousness are qualities that are invaluable to any photographer. Working with digital photography, this workshop is designed to engage participants with the medium of photography, in creative ways that will spark furhter curiousity in this craft.  Along with photographer Mintio, students will get to explore a variety of subjects in the hussle and bussle of Bali’s busiest traditional market, Pasar Badung. From still-life, to landscape and even portraiture, the traditional market offers any young photographer a chance to experiment with the infinite possibilities of photography.


After the guided shooting session, students will be lead through a peer-to-peer review session of their photographs with projections at Ketemu Project Space. There they will learn how to articulate visual semiotic ideas in their image making process.
