” For me, art is not only an object of beauty. There is also an overflow of emotions, a medium to release all kinds of problems and burdens in this life. For me, who is an ODS (Person with Schizophrenia), art activities are one of the therapies for recovery and reducing the risk of possible recurrence of my mental illness. The objects I present in my paintings are explorations of facial expressions that are sometimes irregular in composition. These faces with various expressions represent the feelings that suffocate and fill my brain. The hallucinations, visions and delusions that I experience pour out in various facial expressions such as sane, sad, gloomy, laughing, screaming and also crying. ”
