Giulia is an Italian artist and graphic designer. She deals with visual communication and she’s passionate about artistic techniques. These interests have led her to travel around the world to do artist residency.
She traveled to India [ in an artisan’s village in Odisha, from whom she learned drawing techniques ]; to an eco-village in the Amazon Forest where she attended the “natural pigments” program; to Mexico, living in contact with an old mayan community learning from them ancient techniques related with clay and wild colors
Now during her Residency in Ketemu, she had the opportunity to rework her journey by creating a new artistic imagination connected with nature and symbols.
Her artworks are the result of these experiences. It combines graphics with painting through shapes and colors. Primitive subjects are rich in details of the culture to which they belong, but they are brought back to a fantastic setting, in a dreamlike dimension.

Through KI’N exhibition, Giulia would like to grace the generosity of our land, she would like to celebrate the authentic and intimate pursuit of happiness, she would like to show a new journey, of hers.
